First off, with a slight modification, you can use any Double Din (DD) Radio in a Ranger. The Ranger has a different sized Radio and make using both a single and double din radio extra work but cheer up it's easy to put in a DD radio. Read up on the DD How-To and see wha to do. As far as choices, that up to you, make sure you can get a wiring adapter for your truck... AND when you buy the Radio ask about an exact fit adapter harness then it will be a plug and play. I have an '03 EDGE Std Cab, I got the iLX-207 Alpine Double Din Radio, got a back up camera, and SirusXM Receiver, a wiring adapter, and a Mounting Adapter... it all fit without doing anything extra...EXCEPT opening up the Radio/HVAC Bezel, top and bottom. Pick your Radio, modify the Radio Bezel, mount it up !

Working on more Mods, just need more time, longer days would work ! |
