Scrambler82 do you have your 06 mirrors apart? Is just the glass out or do you have the glass backing out?
Yes, I still have them apart, the motors are still inplace.
I want to reenforce the plastic housing where I will mount an additional mirror mount.
The mount will be made of aluminum, maybe a piece of 4" angle, cut and shaped to look better than it does.
Then bolt it to the bottom of the housing with a piece of thinner aluminum on the inside.
Mike, what are you thinking ?
