Purdue is a great school; I have several co-workers who went there (including my boss). Really depends what curriculum you are going for to pick the "right" school. It's good you could encourage and inspire her to go for the brass ring! It really doesn't take a lot of effort to make a positive impact on young people... it's more about how you approach it. Obviously, you made a lasting impression on her, so kudos to you!
