Kealel, we didn't go the skeltonized route but did the charging handle delete, milled off the dust cover hinges/latch, opened up the ejection port, and milled in a side charge channel. There are very few 6.8SPC, flat-top, Lefty, side-chargers out there. Everything else was minimalist except for the 4.5x14-50 Leupold scope. Did a range day. I was the only person on the pistol range and I got to do some drills. I shot 120 45GAP rounds. Fist drill was with 3 9-round mags of draw, charge, shooting for hearts and mind. I did a couple single handed double taps and both two handed and one handed mag dumps. While I was policing the GAP brass the RO came out and told me that if it was anybody else they would have stopped me when I was doing my drawing drills. I also shot 103 rounds (4 10-round mags and 7 9-round mags) of 9mm in the 1911. The ammo I was shooting in the 1911 was some of my competition ammo that is loaded at the top end for the power factor. After the 45Gap the 9mm felt like mouse fart loads.
