I'm gone guess you pretty much just cut everything out and started fresh?

Not quite. Circuits had to stay active. We had a couple of empty racks with servers and switches for various upgrades. We robbed Peter to pay Paul for the cleanup and paid Paul back with the "borrowed" servers and switches after the bulk of the cleanup. I had pictures at one time but no longer. All wiring was in octets and individually labeled at every bend.  We used 18k zip ties and 11000 foot of velcro in the cleanup. This occurred during build up. When we started the base had 900 AF, less than 100 Army, and about 100 Navy/Marines. By the time we finished it was still 900 AF, but there were 5 Army Companies, and 8000 Marines who all had an email address on our network.

I was assigned to the Kuwaiti AF Base. When OIF began within 6 hours there were about a dozen Army, no Navy/Marine, and 900 USAF as everybody had gone north to Iraq. Our base had the A-10's running missions out of there for about a week then we started trucking supplies to Ali Air Base in Iraq.
