the NSS (neutral safety circuit) has a few purposes (always circuit 329)

It allows the starter to run only in P or N (signal from the DTRS)
It allows the starter to run only when clutch depressed (on a 5 speed truck)
It allows the transfer case to shift into Low Range (only in Neutral or with clutch pressed in)

So they are two ways of saying the same thing.
Neutral safety sensor circuit. One wire form the ignition goes down to the auto trans and then comes back..... usually red/w and pink

Ahhhh gota. Well I'll map it out to the ranger connector and get it done up. I'm curious what wires I'll have left on the ranger plug when I'm done lol
