I did make it work on a 2000, it is a little different. The GEM is different altogether. It has one plug at the bottom and 3 facing the driver. The yellow and black wire is in the top connector of the 3. You will have to take the 1 screw out of the bottom and lower the GEM to get to the connector: ![]() You can see the 3 connectors when it is pulled down. This is the only difference, the wire is the same color and serves the same purpose it is in a different place. The diagram in the EVTM shows this connector FROM THE PLUG SIDE but it only has one yellow wire with a black stripe which can clearly be seen in the above picture. ![]() Here are some more random shots of this particular install. ![]() ![]() ![]() And the infamous butane soldering iron with heat shrink attachment: ![]()
