This virus does not like warm temps of the sunshine....so the Northern states seem to be getting hit worse. Also population DENSITY has everything to do with transmission. I study people and their comfort zones.....why you ask? Because we study how people stack them selves in elevators. People have whats called a "body ellipse" or the space around you that you are comfortable with others encroaching. In the USA we have a large body ellipse, we do not like to stand shoulder to shoulder.... in places like New York with dense populations that ellipse gets smaller as people get more comfortable around each other (think subway, crowded elevator car). You ever watch the elevator doors close as somebody is coming.......decided to let it close because there is no more room? In metropolitan areas people will stuff more people in. In China they do not mind cramming in until there is really no more space... their body ellipse is much much smaller then ours. In China elevators are physically smaller with smaller entrances and smaller cabs because they do not mind stacking like sardines in there....try that in Texas, not gonna happen...elevator is "full" at like half capacity... in China most cars run at full capacity. Washington, Ney York some of the virus hot spots....its still cold up here! AZ and Texas not as much warmer and less dense populations
