It's been comforting a soothing reading and replying to this thread. Thank you. Dont stop. Say anything...

And Yes, I have projects I've been holding off doing. Some because they will only deplete my savings. I'm trying to avoid improving my mothers house because I need one myself and if I keep paying for her upgrades I'll never be able to have a house of my own.

I have a bunch of copper and brass to sort and conduit to strip. I've been putting it off because the trade wars. I'm hoping china starts another big project so copper goes back up to $10lb. I've saved every piece of copper flashing, wiring from the remodel, aluminum window frames and lots of brass sink parts. I saved it to offset my remodel expenses.

All the other things to do require a machine. Being a brick mason has destroyed my arms from wrist to shoulder. So no shovels for me or I'll be crippled.

I spent the last 10 years or so getting everything caught up and upgraded or updated before I started on the ranger. I'm in a good place to explore my interests and once the truck is completed I'll begin building some closets in the garage to empty my storage. Then I'm off to find a cabin in the woods to enjoy on the weekends and retire to later.
