Take an engine hoist and 4 ratchet tie down straps.  I was able to remove my stepside by myself when I replaced the fuel pump. It took longer to get the bolts out than it did to get the fuel feed lines and bed off.
I have had the bed of my Ranger off several times & I use marine grade rope run through the in bed tie down hooks in an "X" pattern & lift it with my engine hoist.
