ABSOLUTELY agree 110% these guys are spot on!!! 7.5 is a GOOD axle But not worth spending any money on. Go 31 spline 8.8 and disc brakes, never look back. The cost for parts and labor is the same You can find explorer rear axles (95-01 Explorer all had disc brake 31 spline 8.8) for $150-450 depending on miles and gears. MANY stock explorers came with 4.10 and a limited slip so.... you can actually save a bunch of money and just get explorer axle, convert it to spring over and bolt it in......... I ditched the 7.5 from my BII about 18 years ago now? The 8.8 with discs was one of the best upgrades the BII ever received
