Half of 5000 rounds of 22LR? During the 90's I would pick up a brick of 22 once a month and shot less than a brick a year since then. It was $5 to $8 a brick back then. I haven't purchased 22LR in almost 20 years. MIKE, we may want to do a deal where I trade you some 22LR for some toilet paper. ![]() I pulled out my Tanfoglio single action revolver about 3 times last year for a range day. It is accurate and the action is tight but it is a PIA to clean. I have had a 10/22 for 30+ years and it probably has had less than 100 rounds through it. My go-to 22 rifle is a Ted Williams magazine fed bolt action with a vernier sight that was made for Sears by Winchester. There was a time I could shoot a beer bottle cap at 100 feet with it. I can't do that now as my hands aren't as steady and my sight is not good enough. I can still pop a squirrel in the head at 35 yards.
