Well y'all have talked me out of using the tilt switch I bought for the tailgate. I'll still use it for the hood but since the tailgate can come off you would need a disconnect also. I have a box of waterproof disconnect plug and sockets but will use a switch. Maybe LOL the fit on my tailgates is not a door quality fit.
