If you have 100% gas you are better off. I have had to replace the carburetor on my chainsaw, lawnmower, tiller, pressure washer, and Corvette due to the alcohol in the fuel. It eats away at the gaskets and sluges out worse than 100% gas. I have found 100% gas to last 6 months before tuning to varnish. Three months tops with 10% alcohol.

I also get better fuel mileage with pure gas. My Harley will get better fuel mileage with 90 octane pure gas than it will with 93 alcohol blend and it will accelerate better and get better fuel mileage.
