I had actually already started taking the bed off last night cuz I was leaning toward a full drain and I guess I go ahead with it. It might sound like a waste but I may buy a second filter also and replace the first new one after 2 or 3 full tank cycles just so I'm good. I appreciate the help and didn't mean to hijack this thread for a bit. Didn't want to make a new thread elsewhere just for this lol
