To me it isn't the amount of noise is the actual sound of the noise ? If that makes sense. I think DynoMax makes a great sounding Steel Welded Muffler, IMHO.. .more rugged than FlowMaster, also Borla has a good sound, how they sound on a 4.0L, sorry can't tell you. Some Muffler Sites have a sound track where you pick the truck and then listen to the sound on your truck, not sure if they still do !
