usually remove the upper intake plenum as well and install new plenum gaskets/O rings There are metal thermostat housings available these days on amazon/ ebay Since you have to remove the thermostat housing and intake in order to change the drivers chain tensioner it is a good time to do this as well. Only use FORD tensioners, replace both sides. Ford recommends at 90K miles.... Well done, we have to do what we have to do to keep our rigs ready for work!
