I will look around & see if I still have the wiring diagram I made for the mirror swap. I do not believe that you would damage the power mirrors by moving them a few times manually.

Do you remember if the wire colors are the same ?
I looked for the '06 Mirror Harness, I would have thought, $10, Ford's $18+, there are two others $26+, x2... !
Anyone have any extra harnesses for the '06 Mirrors, just the Connectors and at least 6" of harness, thanks !
