Pulled out the '06 Mirrors... didn't know if the guy I purchased them from owned an '06 Ranger or if he had already modified the Mirrors for an '03 Bolt-up.
To my surprise the Mirrors have already been mod'd, so I have a bolt in setup now, that will make it easier, now I need to do my mods to the mirrors.
Change the Mirror Glass, adding LEDs on the front lower edge of the mirrors, a combined running light and a brighter directional lights, I think they call the lights "Switchbacks".
Still would like to get a separate Convex Mirror to attach to the bottom of these housings... not sure what's out there, anyone have any ideas other than the little round stick on type.
Wiring should be interesting, Mike what wires did you connect between the '06 Mirror Connector and your Trucks Mirror Switch on the Drivers Door.
I have two full powered door to pull parts from, but my truck does not have powered windows, mirrors, or locks... yet !

As far as the wiring for the power mirrors my Ranger already had power mirrors, I made an extension harness from power mirrors on a Ranger in the JY. The 06 mirrors have a short harness plug right by the mirror, the old small style mirrors that were on my Ranger had a longer harness that plugged into the door harness. My old mirrors from my 2000 Ranger were like the ones in the attached link.

What I did was mod & install the mirrors then kept testing the wires until I got the up, down, left, & right functions to match the switch positions.
