The "Glock Smile" is where the case bulges where it is unsupported at the slide. This is a problem with too much pressure. Other manufacturer's had the problem also until the SAAMI specifications changed on the 10mm case to make the case wall thicker near the base. I think a Glock is like the small block Chevy engine. It is a slop machine. It can be way out of tolerances and still work. When properly tuned it is awesome. The Air National Guard unit I retied from had Glock's national LEO sales manager, an armorer instructor, and 4 of it armorers in it. I was good friends with them and got a lot of insight on how to tune them up.
