@Eddie: The FX4 console wouldn't work for my application (floor shift). Also, it doesn't appear to have an armrest. At any rate, $300 for a console is more than I'm willing to pay. My local Pick N Pull charges $10 for the shifter unit and $20 for the console. :thumbsup:

Once I know the dimensions of the Escape console, I can determine if there is any possibility to make it work. THEN I need better weather to hit the salvage yard.

@Scrambler: If I was going with an aftermarket shifter, a shorty console would be perfect.
