Michael, here you go. Here is the interface I used. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002U5XPBE/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_4?smid=A3E6B1BQWBUOYQ&psc=1 Got it from Amazon, $25.00. Very easy to hook up, & yes very good sound comparable to the CD player. Here is the MP-3 player I got. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00XVVYGIC/ref=ox_sc_quick_look_saved_title_3?smid=A1TVDUW3K6CWWG&psc=1 When I leave my truck at work I just unhook the MP-3 player & put it in the glove box for safe keeping. That way using the stock radio & with the aux port built in & the MP-3 player in the glove box there is no reason for anyone to try to steal anything because it all looks stock. The only drawback to using the interface it diminishes the radio quality a little which I do not care because I do not listen to the radio any more, it is either the MP-3 player or my cd's.
