Isn't the rear usually smaller than the front Sway bar ? If the old mind remembers right, not left, but correctly, the rear Sway bar on my STX was really small OD. I do remember it helped the handling some. When I did the lift on the '88 STX, I left it off, the truck wasn't bad, it handled ok but something was different enough to catch my attention. I decided to reinstall with longer, larger OD links and the truck just felt right again ! The Explorer Sway Bar, since the rear axle is wider than a Ranger, the Sway bar might be too and not fit properly.
