agreed, mounting the shifter was the hardest part And then I had to re do the mount when I finally installed a manual t case. I built a couple of simple brackets to hold my shifter in the perfect place....my elbow rests on the elbow pad / center console and my hand sits right on the shifter....very comfortable! Someday I will build a fiberglass / plastic 3d printed console cover to hide all the mechanical stuff....
