In all the years I have built vehicles for street and racing, to include a 1988 Ranger STX/5.0L with L&L Product headers, none leaked, not at the collectors, not at the heads. Thinking on this, is it possible to modify the Spring Towers, cut them back some, and use a good set of shorty headers ? What changed in the Engine Bay from the '88 to the '01-up Rangers ? Working on more Mods, just need more time, longer days would work ! |
