Allright speaking of another level :) here is how I do the alternator wiring add into the 02:
First remove the yellow/wh alt wire and the black/orange wire from the 2000 donor power box, we are going to add a 30 amp mini fuse to the 02 trac PJB (pwr junct box)

Make map of existing fuses and my target fuse loc in the 02 box, this way I can pull all fuses, pull box apart and when it is done I have a location map ready to go.

target location for new fuse

yellow/white wire ready to stab

Black/orange wire ready to stab

wires fed from underside of PJB

new pins now in place

new fuse installed!

Now we need to hook up the black/orange wire to power, in the 200 truck it simply slips onto the batt power stud, for the 02 I had to get creative:
target location

more detail

Mods needed to clearance for wire

Wire installed

Now see these two battery + feeds, one from battery one to starter

Modify them until they look like this, now they will hook up to the 02 PJB

Now turning my attention to getting things cleaned up

cleaned up the coolant tank, purple power, soap, water, and a bendy brush....rinse repeat

Locate some donor parts to get this thing running, I made a list of what's left....

This is the starter relay for a 2002 sport trac:

This is the DB/OR (dark blue with orange tracer) wire, this is the wire PATS will ground when it allows the starter to run.
I need to ground this wire, circuit 86 starter relay ground to PATS........

This way our ignition switch will run the starter
