I'm kinda leaning toward the Rivian, been following it for a while. I like the fresh design from the ground up, the unusual mid truck storage "trunk" and the fact it has a zero to 60 time that is unbelievable with the mid level battery and the 175HP per wheel motors. This thing has massive ground clearance by design. The thing is a beast. Electricity shouldn't be as expensive as it is. Everything uses less, refrigerators, AC, lights, it is a different world but electricity has remained expensive, this sucks. If you run out of gas in the wrong place the towing applies also. Drive down any street, every house and business has electric how many have a gas pump. Many hybrids have chargers not much bigger than like 4 laptop chargers wrapped together that you can use 110. I just like the idea of electric cars. When I was in my early 20's I drove fork lift at a place that had all electric Hyster fork lifts. They were quick, powerful with plenty of torque (enough to take you through walls trust me) and were dead silent. I remember thinking "why don't they make cars like this". This was like 81 or 82 and the technology was already there... we had endured a fake "fuel crisis" in 74/75 ish with people lined up for miles at the gas stations and some places were charging over a dollar a gallon. We laugh now but that was way out of line for back then when I first drove gas was under 70C a gallon. Someone convert that to liters for Chris please. (humor)
