I have run many many 5.0 trucks with no or completely empty primary cat converters and no CEL from the catalyst monitors (downstream 02 sensors)
If you do get a cel for some strange reason you can use rear cheaters or tune the rear cat monitors out of the system
So you are adding a second set of calipers to the rear axle? Or did I miss something?
I usually buy a new piece of brake line from the auto parts store and bend it up for the 8.8 to go from side to side, they have them on the shelf.
