Correct me if I'm wrong but this is simple math. With everything together, mark the yolk and the axel. If its 4:10 to 1 gears it should rotate the yolk a hair more than 4 full turns to one rotation of the axel. If this was in a truck all together, youd count the drive shaft rotations per one revolution of the tire.
