Sleep happens sometimes, sometimes it does not.

My middle son, awake every 2-1/2 to 3-1/2 hours, demanding and I shared responsibility with the wife.

We fostered a baby girl before the next son. I swear I don't think she ever slept. She screamed so loud in my left ear I have permanent damage. I did most of the staying awake in this one.

Last son? After about a week of being a baby he decided it was better to sleep. He would sleep for 6 plus hours a night. Was also our first child where we realized that this SIDS thing was very rare and we let him sleep in any position he wanted, not trying to force him on his back and prop him in with expensive anti sids devices. Kid was totally relaxed and slept through the night most of the time.

Kids are awesome if I were younger we would have kept on having them. As it stands I might be in a wheelchair with an oxygen tank when my youngest graduates.
