Okay... anyone who has seen the pics of my truck knows it's a "gentleman's truck"; a pavement queen. One member on another forum once told me they hated my truck because it had too much "shiny ". Currently, it has many luxury appointments in the interior such as leather 6-way seats, full length console, OHC and Lincoln shift lever / tilt handle / turn signal stalk and leather steering wheel. For some reason, I want a floor shift. There are plenty of options out there that support the 5r55e automatic trans pattern of PRND21. The one that has caught my eye is from a 2002 - 2005 Crown Vic or Grand Marquis.

I guess I am performing a sanity check here. Does anyone have thoughts on whether this would look good and do you see any issues with installation / function? I haven't yet been to the Pick n Pull to see if I can find one of these in decent shape and, of course, I have to get measurements and such to ensure things would even have a chance of fitting in between the power seats. Lots of research ahead, but I wanted to get some input from the members here. Let me know your thoughts!
