FORGET POR-15 Expensive no UV protection use Chassis Saver from Magnet paints! WAAAAAAAAY better Do not get it in your hair or weeks later you will still have it in your hair. I have been slathering chassis saver all over my BII for a few months now....rust repair. POR-15 has no uv protection and turns dull grey in sunlight or exposed to weather like sprinklers, rain water, etc..... Chassis saver is the shiznit and its CHEAPER same dude who makes Monstaliner makes it It goes a LONG WAY too half gallon has lasted me through this whole project and I still have 1/4 can left Whatever you decide follow the directions Basically for me I remove all rust, remove more rust, remove the rust scale, any hint of rouge, then scuff it up with like 80 grit, clean with soap and water, then final wipe with acetone then apply chassis saver. It calls for two coats min. The stuff dries into like a shiny plastic coating...it is so cool to work with.....
