I'll be pulling the bed off my Jalape±o project this winter for several reasons:

1. Running a new wiring harness for backup camera, tail lights, bed accessory lights, switch for tailgate, extras for things I haven't thought of yet.

2. Close examination of spare tire mechanism, fuel tank, brake lines, springs and shackles.

3. Fixing a dent in the bed.

But while I'm under there I'll power wash the frame (it is in incredibly good shape) and paint it. I would like to paint the front calipers black and the rears also (I'm prepping an expo rear end) AND the rear axle housing too.

What is the paint or process you have used in the past and what were the results? I have had a gallon of Magnet Paint UCP99-01 in my e-bay cart for over a year now, some say por-15 some like magnet but I have never used anything but a rattle can so far.
