I'm going to look out for the fuel tank thing BUT I'm convinced my short cab has a smaller tank than my ex cab already, I filled it from empty and it was about 14 gallons. I'm sure my ex cab takes about 18. Or the gauge is really screwed up on the small one.
Jim, I just checked the owners manual for my 2000 Ranger & it states the regular cab short w/b is 16.5 gal, the regular cab long w/b is 20 gal, & the extended cab is 19.5 gal.
