[font=Arial, Georgia, "Times New Roman", Times, serif]cleaned some more then coated with chassis saver to stop the rust





[font=Arial, Georgia, "Times New Roman", Times, serif]Engine bay prepped some more, stock steering shaft boot was torn in a few spots so I replaced it with one from a 2007 Ranger donor


[font=Arial, Georgia, "Times New Roman", Times, serif]The v6 engine[font=Arial, Georgia, "Times New Roman", Times, serif] mounts are in fantastic shape so we are going to keep t[font=Arial, Georgia, "Times New Roman", Times, serif]h[font=Arial, Georgia, "Times New Roman", Times, serif]em
[font=Arial, Georgia, "Times New Roman", Times, serif]All that is required is to drill one hold in the drivers side 5.0 engine mount plate
[font=Arial, Georgia, "Times New Roman", Times, serif]It is pretty easy t[font=Arial, Georgia, "Times New Roman", Times, serif]o mark the location of the hole also, set in place and wiggle, it will mark itself. Center punch and drill, install engine plates back on the 302










[font=Arial, Georgia, "Times New Roman", Times, serif]Transmission was cleaned of debris/loose dirt and stabbed to[font=Arial, Georgia, "Times New Roman", Times, serif] the engine
[font=Arial, Georgia, "Times New Roman", Times, serif]Th[font=Arial, Georgia, "Times New Roman", Times, serif]is transmi[font=Arial, Georgia, "Times New Roman", Times, serif]ssion has been drained, the converter was drained for weeks, remember this is a Ford reman at some point in its life
[font=Arial, Georgia, "Times New Roman", Times, serif]front[font=Arial, Georgia, "Times New Roman", Times, serif] pump seal is cleaned and lubed, converter hub is cleaned and lubed, conve[font=Arial, Georgia, "Times New Roman", Times, serif]rte[font=Arial, Georgia, "Times New Roman", Times, serif]r [font=Arial, Georgia, "Times New Roman", Times, serif]is seated on the trans and trans was married to the 5.0







[font=Arial, Georgia, "Times New Roman", Times, serif]The w[font=Arial, Georgia, "Times New Roman", Times, serif]hole enchilada is then hoisted and carefully set into the engine bay.. my stepson was visiting today so I took advantage of his offer to help and with two mechanics it is possible t[font=Arial, Georgia, "Times New Roman", Times, serif]o get the correct angle and stab the engine and trans together
