The chart is for a 1 to 1 ratio at 65 mph, so if you have an OD Auto Trans, you have an additional gear so once you are rolling and hit OD you may be ok.

IF I were to do the 5.0L Swap, I would go with an OD AT, maybe an AOD, adapted for 4x... !
