I myself am not 100% certain if the spring rates are different, but on nearly every single website I've looked for lift springs they have different part numbers for the 2.3, 3.0 and 4.0. It makes sense to me as the engines would weigh differently. It wouldn't be to jack up the price on the coils because they're all very similar in price.
