I have been reading that there are different racks in the extended cab VS the short cab, something about a different lock to lock ratio.

Can anyone find exact data to support this?

As I read it seems that the ex cabs have a quicker ratio than the short cabs which makes sense but yesterday was the first time I had seen this.

What are the ratios and can you get racks (off the shelf) that have a tighter ratio?

I found different part numbers for the ex cab and the short cab from some vendors and the same number from others. ?
