Well if you called your "body plugs" grommets as we do this side of the pond, there wouldn't be any confusion .... :P
In my experience, body plugs and grommets are different. A grommet is either a cheese loving dog made out of clay or a protective ring to stop abrasion on a wire or tube where it passes through a surface.
