I think he means an electrical plug, not a plug in the floor.

The way he worded his post it sounded to me like he was talking about a plug in the floor of his truck since he was replacing the carpet, but I probably misunderstood what he wrote. If he posts a pic of said plug like 12° North said it would make it easier for us to figure out.
