I thought it was the bulb but it turns out it wasn't hooked up to the illumination circuit anymore. The wire must have broken or it came loose from the splice. So I tried to splice the illumination light back into the radio harness orange wire and it did work. Everything worked great. Except the illumination for the for light switch was on even if the headlights weren't on or the fog lights. So I knew I needed to hook up to the right wire, I think the blue and red wire from the radio harness or the a/c light harness. Well it was a bad idea because when I tried to fix it today. I couldn't ever get the illumination to work and now the fog lights don't come on anymore. I even tried hooking it back up the way I had it but nothing at all, no illumination, no on dot, no fog lights. I didn't see any connections disturbed. I did notice that the connector at the fog light switch would turn it on and off if I pushed on the connector. I tried two other switches thinking that was it but I think maybe the connections to the plug have failed. It was getting late so I just put it back together without for lights. I tested the relay outside with a test light connected to ground and when I probe the blue wire going into the cab, the fog lights came on with the button pushed in. But the switch still wasn't illuminated or the little yellow dot wasn't illuminated. I'm not sure what happened.
