Hmmmm they do have to make the sand mold.... That would do it for size but would not have the machined hole locations. I'm going to work on a head with a broken screw (I have a hole popper EDM at work) for a guy I bought some exhaust parts from (I am going somewhere with this). He just sliced up an expo and still has the engine cradle with the motor mounts sticking up. It will be ultra easy to determine the exact spread of the studs and the height from the frame, I also have access to a small portable cmm arm. I think we badly need more mount plate options and different options for other mount types especially for the coil spring 2wd crowd. There is no concise definitive numbers ANYWHERE. People just get 4.0 mounts (which some have the same number as the 2.5 mounts) which is confusing... a set of "Ricks Plates" which I own 2 sets neither lined up what I consider perfectly and slap it in grinding and hammering. *** END OF RANT LOL ***
