Radiator sprung a leak! Plastic split on the passenger outside of the radiator half way down. VERTICALLY. Ribs in plastic are horizontal.

I have NEVER seen a split in this particular spot on any radiator in any car. Nothing can hit it. It did not freeze. What happened?

Good thing I just happened to be carrying around a radiator in my bed.
