I had to google swirl pot. Expensive. I will have to google the function too lol.

Anyhow there is already a return line as close as the fuel filter on a ... returnless system. Problem is the pressure regulator is in the tank at the other end of the return tube.

The fuel filter is the key, 2 fittings in the back one in the front. Some people put the old style fuel filter in (one in one out) and run the return to the second orphaned line... but you have to take the tank off (or lift the bed slightly) and remove the pump to remove the regulator. I looked at my tank straps, aint happening.
