So with all that has been going on last couple weeks I've had very little time to do some things I wanted to do but the other day or two ago i did escape to get my spacers for my E-panel setup for the Flip-pac along with taking time out this morning to get the necessary 0.25" x 1.75" (x2) and 0.25 x 1.25" (x2) bolts and nuts for my secondary mock up of the E-panel. I still have to assemble it with the lock washers. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() As you can see but maybe ask why I had to do this is for two reasons. [1] I needed to match the necessary vertical stance with the internal shape and dimensions of the Flip-Pac itself. ![]() [2] I needed to also correct for where my wires were going to come out of the E-panel and pass through the body of the bed down through the waterproof conduit and into the secondary battery storage under the vehicle bed where the spare tire used to be. ![]() Which is going to be another project additional to this as a supplement because its all being taken in timely steps. But before that can happen or go too much further in the E-panel itself and wiring aspects. I truly need to apply the ceramic heat reduction spray layer and the sound deadener bed liner layer. I may or may not have stated this before in this particular build thread page but products like Rhino-liner and even some versions of Line-X brands of bed liner materials put off toxic fumes when in high heat temperatures. Since the Flip-pac is an actual living space with materials that could or may retain some of these fumes, even diluted in air or by time open. I'd really rather not chance introducing them to myself or other occupants like the significant other. I may even actually do a video on this process and the task itself. Thanks for reading; for now, time for a caffeine break.. ![]()
