Arthur, working on drum brakes is not that bad it is just a little tricky with the rear axles in the way. Here is a pic of the rear shoes on my 2000 Ranger 4x4 when I replaced them July last year, I was wondering why the truck was not stopping well until I removed the rear wheels & check what was left of the rear shoes. Look at the brake shoe standing up on the left, there was my problem.
