I would hit the local Ace Hardware small engine department and have the model and serial number of the engine. They would need to order it as ignition modules get superseded yearly and the parts counter do not keep anything like this in stock. I replaced the ignition on a 35 year old Briggs 6 HP two years ago and it was just under $50. The block cracked a few months back and I replaced it with a 7 HP Ironton from Northern Tool for $99. I junked the old engine.
