 It doesn't matter what the books say... That part is for the optional Electronic Automatic Temperature Control available in high end 2nd generation Explorers. It will NOT work with the factory Ranger HVAC.

I like Rock Auto but you must cross check them. I would estimate that their application info for our Rangers is only 85~95% correct.
