Thank you. I remember a mod from the 2.3 liter that I think is applicable. drilling through the rodends and bearing half-shells, then de-burring, tap and instal a jet to squirt cooling oil on the underside of the pistons. If I understand correctly, certain rods for certain versions of the modular engines are already available with a similar feature. In addition, one version of the Modular Emgine is supposed to be a truck version, for the F-series trucks, with a taller deck height to accommodate a longer crank throw. The crankshafts should be interchangeable and just need longer rods to match the pistons with the highest pin, cutting costs considerably.
