Well have you guys been in contact with Powertraxx/Richmond?
I can barely find any reviews or people who know about/installed the Grip-Pro. There's a couple on Jeep forums as usual and preliminary reviews seem ok, not much different then a TrueTrac.
And I'm still not 100% sure it atually works in the Ranger

I can't justify the $$ of ARB's front and rear.

And, you guys have lots of goodies but one has to prioritize right? :D

We are a Richmond Dealer and even though we're not a Powertrax Dealer, you should find all your specs here if you haven't already. This is the Ford Ranger Application specific part - https://www.powertrax.com/traction-systems-product/369907-limited-slip-differential-gt443527/?crt_viaSearch=path%3Apart%253Adifferential-lock-assembly%3Bposition%3A%2523%2528rear%252C%2Bn-a%2529%2523%3Bdifferentialcasedesign%3A_ANY_%3Byear%3A2008%3Bmake%3Aford%3Bmodelandsubmodel%3Aranger%3Benginesize%3A_ANY_

Either Brand as well as similar others, are a type of part that it either works as intended or doesn't and not something that seems to be widely reviewed as much as perhaps the brand name as a loyalty to start. So I could see where reviews would be a priority as most people in our realm of the Ranger community that unless you're a die-hard Ranger guy willing to actually throw money at that particular modification, again rarity may be another variable as to why reviews would be limited.

ARB is a large pill to swallow, we definitely get it. But we do sell "wants" and not "needs" [necessarily] and the general vehicular communities that do use ARB almost exclusively are mostly Jeep, Toyota, Nissan, Land Cruiser, and essentially worldwide vehicle platform owners that put trust and money into their vehicles because they use them differently that the US market.

We actually sell quite a lot for the Newest 2019 Ranger and quite a bit of parts for the 2012-2018 World Ranger more so than its older counter parts it seems. Sadly some of our ranger owners that do support us too are generally more interested in maintenance issues/concerns than they are up-fitting a 20-25yr old vehicle platform. Simply put; most Ranger owners aren't going to that extent to modify their trucks.

I think as a whole, which ever product fits within your budget constraints, I don't think you could go wrong really. If I may, I'd suggest contacting both companies since reviews are limited and not only question one of their techs on the specific part number for the application in question, but raise the question of the other product and see what they say and consider whichever company gives you what you need and hopefully doesn't bash the other company in order to try to earn your business. But I'd purchase all your parts and have the work done at the same time as your new gear ratio as they'll already be R&R'ing the guts anyway, it should be less cost. That's my personal and professional opinion.
